So, I work as post-graduate intern in a prestigious private hospital and the dress code entails wearing of heels.
It's not that I hate dressing up as a girl because believe you me, I have more than enough "kikay" clothes and accessories to disprove this. However, I have spoiled feet. (Read: pampered spoiled, not rotten spoiled), as much as possible, I don't wear socks or closed shoes because I like my feet out in the open, basking in the cool breeze. *snerk*
Strange as it may sound, my mood depends on the status of my feet. As long as my feet are nice and comfy, I can work all day. But if my feet so much as hurt by even the minutest bit, I feel like propping my feet up and staying in bed all day. So, feet comfort is essential to my efficiency as a person.
To get to the point, I was on duty yesterday with a gazillion admission so I was going up and down stairs in my heels. God, my fatigue was practically doubled by the fact that I was straining my calves just to keep my heels on and not kick them out the door and walk around the hospital barefoot.
No point to this blog, really. My feet just needed some venting time. :p
Anybody know where I can get a medical certificate that says my physical status prohibits me from wearing heels of any sort? Anyone?

At least the things that decide about your mood are connected to your body. So everywhere it's easy for you to change a bad mood by putting of shoes, by forcing your boyfriend to massage your feet, by taking a quick foot bath, by putting them in front of a fan in the summerdays, by taking a photo of your (probably sweet) feet and showing it to your friends ("Ohhhaaaa, sweet feet!"), by running on dry and warm sand, or by just giving your feet a break by stopping to walk...
LUCKY YOU!
