What to do when you just ended a 24-hour duty and have 12 hours to kill until you have to go on duty again?
Me? I stay at the hospital's coffee shop until I have to go be a doctor again. ^_^
See, it's been really hot lately and so, instead of racking up the electric bills which I'm going to have to pay for anyway, it really is better to just take advantage of the hospital's centralized air-conditioning.
...
Actually, the deciding factor is that the hospital's coffee shop has free WiFi. No way in nerd hell am I staying here offline while there is unlimited internet access at home. I have things to do, stuff to learn, Korean celebrities to ogle.
And so we come to today's blog topic. Productivity.
Earning heaps of gold on MouseHunt.
I've been clicking away at 15-minute intervals for the past... eight hours.
Sending useless although entertaining messages, if I do say so myself.
Okay, maybe I am tooting my own horn but my messages made me laugh. That should count for something.
Posting videos about funny scenes from korean movies.
It really was funny. Hm.. Maybe I should just show you.
Learning what kosher means and further cementing the fact that Wikipedia can be *stoopid*.
Everyday, I get to earn 3 pieces of SuperBrie cheese for MouseHunt by searching stuff using the MH Toolbar. So, I search whatever pops into mind and one of the poppers for today was kosher. Here's a Wiki-excerpt.
Is a bird.
...
Moving on.
Bored, from this day forth, shall no longer just mean bored.
Because there is a huge difference between saying, "I'm bored." and "I'm being bored."
Not seeing it? Please step back and shove your head into the gutter.
Or you can google the definition of bored.
Increasing calorie count.
For the past 8 hours, I have consumed 2 iced caramel macchiatos (roughly 200 calories each), 1 icy choco (250 calories), 1 ham and cheese sandwich (350-400 calories) and currently consuming a slice of blueberry cheesecake (150 calories). So, racking up around 1,200 calories. This should mean something to me but I'm too hungry to care.
It's a good thing I work as a doctor so my productivity just skyrockets on the Is-Your-Life-Meaningful Scale. Hopefully right up there with mothers and organ donors.

"... the Deuteronomic Code and Priestly Code explicitly list the prohibited birds, using names that have uncertain translations; the list seems to mainly consist of birds of prey, fish-eating water-birds, and the bat."The BAT.
