"the world is circle"

Hehe... My friends and I were playing cards one night and to stir things up a bit, we agreed to speak in really bad English. So, Kathleen, after losing a couple of times and finally winning a round, she says, "Haha! The world is circle!" (Which is a terrible translation of "Gulong ng palad", a Filipino phrase equivalent to karma).

Speaking of karma, a rotation in OB in a public hospital was never meant to be benign. Until I came, of course. I was so benign that there was a day where i had zero patients in the ward.

And that where I'm blaming my current toxicity in Pedia as of late. While my co-interns average 8 admission during their course of duty, I admit 15-18 patients, easy. God's way of maintaining the balance? Perhaps.

In any case, it's still not as toxic as the rotation in a public hospital. I never sweat because airconditioning is centralized. You'd even wish they'd turn the damn airconditioner off because you'd be using 3 blankets and still, you'd feel cold.

That's me, with a Trisomy 18 baby. Note the heels and skirt. God, my feet hurt that day. I think I went and got myself slippers a few minutes after this.
