I like music. But for some reason, a good chunk of my playlist is composed of chinese, korean and japanese popmusic. But my favorite artist of all time is Wang Lee Hom. He's only 31 and he has 12 albums, with 1 coming at the end of the year. He has a masters degree in music, composes all his music and can play any instrument. Even the ancient Chinese ones. Great voice, too.
Anyway, I was busy internet-stalking Lee Hom when I came across the video to his Asian Tour for his new album Music Man. Where was it, you say? Singapore.
Now, my friends do not share my... enthusiasm for Chinese pop music. One of them is Julette. Do you know where she is now? Singapore.
I hate hate hate not having graduated from the University of Asia and the Pacific and getting a job in Singapore that would enable me to watch Lee Hom's concert! And I hate hate hate that Julette could have passed Lee Hom on the street and just saw him as any other Chinese guy.
Aaaargh!
I'm going to continue to bitch along to Lee Hom's latest song.
