I'm really not that big on Filipino TV series or movies, or on Filipino entertainment altogether. I don't think Piolo Pascual is cute and I absolutely hate Bea Alonzo so much that I want to stab her in the eye with her Betty La Fea braces. Repeatedly.
There are, however, two exceptions. John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano. Luis is funny! Sure, he's attractive but there are a lot of attractive people out there. I just like his sense of humor, is all.
I even watched some Pinoy movie simply because he was in it. Something about Ann Curtis being half-Australian and having Ai Ai de las Alas as her Pinay mother. Anyway, loving Luis.
And then there's John Lloyd Cruz, or Lloydie, as most fans call him.
Lord, he makes me want to jump his bones. I hate Bea Alonzo (his on-screen love team whatever) but I endured watching their sappy movie just to gawk and stare at John Lloyd. I liked the movies he did with Sarah Geronimo, though. Downloaded the movie yesterday which pretty much says that I like it enough to waste online time on it. Bayertz, the guy is so yummy. Totally do-able. I even told Marisse that if I had to choose between John Lloyd and her, I'd choose John Lloyd. But this is only because I'm pretty sure our friendship can withstand me choosing sex with John Lloyd over her having sex with John Lloyd. Hee...

Anyway, I was just browsing through some articles (Read: internet stalking again) when I came across this:
Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz will be off to New York soon for the shooting of “A Mother’s Story”. A Mother’s Story is his controversial movie with Gov. Vilma Santos and her son Luis Manzano. John Lloyd Cruz plays a role requiring a kissing scene with lover, gay Luis Manzano in the movie. To research his role in the movie, John Lloyd Cruz cried watching Brokeback Mountain.NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
For now, John Lloyd Cruz is excited to immerse in the gay culture saying, “It’s a journey sa bawat character na ginagampanan ko at excited akong malaman ang mundo ng mga bakla.”
My two favorite men! Together! This is so NOT how I imagined it!
