Brief psychotic episode

An unlimited internet connection provides a gateway for indulgence in a lot of useless endeavors. While I argue that they expand my global knowledge, I am well aware that Japanese series tend to elicit WTFRs, otherwise known as What The Fuck Reactions.

Anyway, I was finishing up a new series I was watching last night. Zettai Kareshi or Absolute Boyfriend, where this girl Riko is torn between her hot robot boyfriend and cute human boss. Check out my previous Facebook status messages:

Farina Zafra's heart bleeds for a brokenhearted robot. Poor Night-kun... T_T

Farina Zafra is amazed that the Japanese are seeing things her way. I mean, Riko chose the hot robotic lover over her cute human boss! *continues blathering on about crazy Japanese series*

And then, I commented on that status message with this:

Ack! Robotic boyfriend's broken cooling system was *repaired* by a goodnight kiss! Lahi ra jud ning mga Hapon oi..

I'm not going to bore you with the details but suffice it to say that the title of this entry explains the rest of what I'm about to write.

I was crying at 4:00AM because Night (the robot) was shutting down. Jesus, I expected someone to die seeing as this was a Japanese series and they tend to kill someone off at the end of anything. I just didn't expect it to be the robot!

I guess you really are a techie if you start rooting for the robot.

And who can blame me if the robot looks like this?!
