I'm not a weepy person. I'm far from being a Vulcan when it comes to emotional control but I rarely cry in front of another person. When I feel bad, I vent and then it's over as far as the people around me are concerned. I don't even discuss boyfriend fights with my friends.
The thing is, I firmly believe that women don't need other people to solve their problems. We just need sounding boards so we can solve the problem ourselves. And that's exactly how I operate.
For the past 3 months, I've had episodes of... sadness. I never get truly depressed. I'm too much of an optimist to be that. Breakups have never been easy for me but so far, this one has been the hardest. It's been years since I cried over something other than a koreanovela. Typically a scene in the rain with the hero staring longingly at the heroine... But I digress.
So, like I said. Haven't cried in a long time but 3 months ago, I cried in an internet cafe while chatting with Dennise and Marisse. I don't deal with rejection easily but surprisingly, I recovered so fast like you wouldn't believe. After a night of backbreaking sobbing and a week of weepiness... I was fine.
I make it a point not to be mushy on this blog because I know I will read this in the future and Dennise, Marisse and Julette will be right behind me... mocking me. But I have to say this.
I have the perfect sounding boards.

Awwww...and then there's that very noisy Farina who downed half a pitcher of mai tai last Sunday night!!!hehe I'll definitely be mocking you until we're fifty...or sixty...even a hundred if I live to be that old!!!:p
