When you go from speeds of 40 kb/sec to 1700 kb/sec, it's hard not to get emotional.
Well, at least for me.
I'm grateful and happy about my broadband connection at home. Even if downloading creeps at a pace of 40 kb/sec. In any case, I can leave it on to download while I sleep. But here, at the Polymedic Medical Plaza coffee shop (yes, my hospital has a coffee shop with WiFi.), I can download 700MB Boys Before Flowers episodes in a matter of minutes.
Minutes.
Which explains why I am here in the hospital on an off-duty capacity. I'm not even a coffee person. I can't fully explain the way I feel right now.
Moved to tears is what it is.
Effin' nerd..
